PICTURE OF THE DAY Photographs of offshore support vessels in action in many parts of the world.

The almost new North Star
platform ship Grampian Talisker entering Aberdeen last
autumn. I found this picture as I was updating the North
Star page of the Ship Information section, and I have
included it really because although I have hundreds of
unpublished pictures I am not getting many new ones from
contributors, so dig into your archives and get the
cameras out guys. Also I have started a community page,
I have no idea how this will go but it seems that by
enrolling people with common interests can email
each other - without the public exposure of Facebook.
