PICTURE OF THE DAY
Photographs of offshore support
vessels in action in many parts of the world.

Here is the
Polar Queen photographed
recently somewhere in South America by Torleif Klokset. It
shows that there is more or less nothing that can't be done
to a ship if people really have the need to do it. This is
some form of small diameter pipeline deployment kit. The old
time marine superintendents would be turning in their
graves! - Erik Azevedo writes that the ship is berthed at
the Commercial Wharf in Vitoria, Espirito Santo, Brazil.
