Ships and Oil have now published two books. The first, "The
History of the Supply Ship" was published in December 2007,
52 years after the Ebb Tide made its way down the
Mississippi for the first time. The second which was
published in March 2009, is the third edition of "Supply
Ship Operations", which was fist published in 1992 when the
author had only recently stopped driving ships in the North
Sea.
Both of these volumes owe much
to the author's familiarity with the vessels involved and the
working environment over his 40 years of involvement in the
