MARINE SUBSEA UK
Marine Subsea is apparently a UK based marine organisation operating at least one subsea intervention vessel. They seem to have been spawned by the former TSMarine which I think was supposed to operate the new XBow well intervention vessel the Sarah. The Uk company appears to be separate from the Norwegian company Marine Subsea AS. Marine Subsea AS claims to own the ship, although it seems more likely that it is actually owned by Marine Subsea UK Ltd.

Later news - January 2011 - the Sarah is lying alongside somewhere, maybe Montrose, and in in the hands of the accountants winding up Marine Subsea UK, or possibly some associated company which may or may not own the ship. It is up for sale anyway, so if you fancy it why not place a bid. Offers apparently in the region of $20,000,000.

Updating this page in November 2011 it turned out that the Sarah was bought by DOF Subsea in May 2011. A second vessel the Katianne was being built at Ulsteinvik. The company completed it and sold it to Island Offshore. So it is goodbye to Marine Subsea UK - this page is now history, but as has become my habit, it remains just for interest.
