MYKLEBUSTHAUG MANAGEMENT |
Myklebusthaug has
been about for many years and seem to have
dipped in and out of the offshore market,
althugh they apparently also manage a number of
other vessels in different trades.
The were for a
time owners of the ex Star Aquarius and were
briefly in the news when they ordered the 100th
UT 755 to be built.

Comments |
This ship entered service as
the Gerd Viking, but was bought by Star Offshore in about 1994. When Star
was purchased by Stirling it became the Stirling Aquarius, and on the
purchase of Stirling by Seacor it was bought by Myklebusthaug
and bareboated back to Seacor who operated it until
October 2004. At that time it reverted to the owners who inventively renamed
it "Aquarius" and awarded the management to Gulf. It is fitted with a Marex
tank cleaning system. |
