Offshore started from fairly small beginnings in the 1990s.They are probably best known for
their enthusiasm for buying up obscure supply ship companies with fleets
of ageing ships. Apparently by 2005 they owned over 100 ships (Info from
"The History of the Supply Ship") but all of them rather
old, except for the three UT 755s which are included here.
In 2005 Seabulk became part
of the Seacor empire which itself owned a lot of old stuff.
Due to our failure to keep up with precisely what has been
happening in the United States as far as this business is
concerned we are leaving this page as it is, rather than
trying to get this history together.
