PICTURE OF THE DAY 2015

Photographs of offshore support vessels in action in many parts of the world. 

The Starnav Draco, a Brazilian built GPA designed platform ship which has just entered service, and like Captain Jan Plug who took the photo I can't resist a new ship. It looks as if the two cranes on the cargo rails run up and down the sides of the ship. Of what use could they possibly be? I'll publish the most informative answer. - So the cranes are apparently a Petrobras requirement, apparently intended to have an SWL of 15 tonnes and to be capable of moving cargo around the deck (I am restraining myself from putting an exclamation mark at the end of this statement).
