It is difficult to believe that this fine vessel is 37 years old, built as the pipe carrier Tender Contest, and then becoming successively the Highland Reel, the Boa Reel, the Havila Reel, and the Bourbon Reel before becoming the DP Reel. It is now operated by Guardline. It looks as if the small derrick might be a temporary attachment. Posted here on 26th February 2013.
