The Damen fast crew boat EDT Nafeli in the port of Takoradi the other day, photographed by Pat McCardle. Just as supply vessels have increased in size and specification so crew boats have become larger and more capable of doing more things. This little ship is 53 metres long with a deadweight of 315 tonnes, and a top speed of 28 knots. Picture posted here on 23rd October 2012. |
