The XBow Ulstein SX134 Polarcus Amani one of the latest seismic ships to enter service (March 2012), apparently capable of deploying 14 streamers. This allows for the collection of 3D seismic, giving the geologists the best possible idea of what is down there. Photographed by Paul Moar in Lerwick Harbour recently.
