Photographs of offshore support vessels in action in many parts of the world. 

Here is the North Sea Giant in Invergordon, captured by our photographer on the spot Alistair Morton who lives in Dingwall, just down the road. This large ship is typical of the current breed of OSVs, billed to be able to do nearly everything, and there is something in this. Years ago construction people would have been overjoyed to have been able to hire a large platform which could maintain station without the assistance of anchors or tugs.
