BOLUDA TOWAGE AND SALVAGE

The Boluda Corporation is an enormous company with offices and operations worldwide which include seven container ships and 24 tankers. Boluda Towage and Salvage is a division of this company, operating about 180 tugs. Within this group are a small number of offshore support vessels, all of which appear to be operating in the Gulf of Mexico. The details of these vessels are included here, but as usual the details are not guaranteed to be correct - or less likely to be correct than usual.

At the time of the 2012 review it seems that Boluda have sold all their offshore vessels. Not all Have been traced, but a couple of ex Smit Lloyd ships have gone, one to Turkey and one to Nigeria. Updated Oct 2012

In 2014 it could be seen that Boluda had not bought any more offshore vessels, although they still claim to be involved in offshore activities. They also say they are involved in Safet and rescue activities in Spain, covered elsewhere on this site.
