GulfMark is a
multinational support vessel company, operating
extensively in European waters. the company also
has an operation in Brazil, and since purchasing
Rigdon Marine has extended its operations to the
Gulf of Mexico. Some of the fleet included here
are what the company describe as fast supply
vessels, which seem to be half way between a PSV
and a crew boat.
These ships are
based in the US gulf ports and Mexico.
Since May 2011
some PSVs have been migrated from the Trinidad
division and a couple of purchases seem to have
been made. Also one ship has been renamed
apparently after a police woman who had been
murdered. It was Slapshot, it is now Jermaine
Gibson.
Since the last
review there has been one import from Trinidad
and one new building. There are also a couple of
platform ships on order for operation in this
region.
At the time of
the January 2015 update the fleet had increased
by 1 PSV, and there are still 2 on order.
