ULTRAPETROL

Ultrapetrol are apparently a Bahamian registered company who operate in a number of areas of the marine industry. One of these areas is in the provision of platform supply vessels to clients. The ships were initially managed by Gulf Offshore, but this contract was lost. They say they have 11 ships. Six of them are said to be managed by a company in America called Ravenscroft. Seven of them are featured here. The others, if they exist remain a mystery.

At least four of them are working in Brazil so the company is included in the South Atlantic Page.

Now the Ultrapetrol page says that they have 14 platform ships, and some of them appear on the DNV website. I have found a press release buried in their website and together with a number of photographs from our contributors all 14 ships have been identified, although there are not photos available or full details of all.
