FRATELLI D'AMATO
Fratelli D'Amato is an Italian company, building and owning at the time of writing a set of UT 755s all of which are currently being managed by Gulf Offshore. What else. Nothing is known abut the company, but on the basis that at some time they will probably take over their own management we have identified it separately from Gulf here.

The ships are registered in UK and operated in the North Sea.

At the 2013 review it was found that they had sold two ships to Tidewater and brought two more into service. They also have two ships on order for delivery late in 2013.

The company has develoepd its website since the last review, and in 2014 we have found out that it is an Italian shipping company started up by the D'Amato family in 1870. In the present day they operate a fleet of  bulk carriers and tankers and are building some container ships. Of greater interest to visitors to this site, they operate a small offshore fleet of platform ships, the details of which can be found here. Since the last review two ships ahave been added to the fleet and two sold.
