STANFORD MARINE GROUP

This company has surfaced once or twice in correspondence but we have yet to receive any photos. However in the interests of providing full information it is now included here.

The company was established in 1997 and is based in Dubai, although their operations seem to be spread between the Middle and Far East. However the real expansion occurred in 2009 when they bought someone with ten ships, and they also ordered numerous vessels. Hence they are now quite a large organisation.

I have made the arbitrary decision that any ship under 40 metres is length is a tug not a supply vessel, and this company has some which are not included due to that decision. Also they operate lots of what we still call crew boats, though no doubt many of them are in fact fast cargo carriers.
