A stunning photo from Paul Moar in Lerwick of the Far Sapphire unloading chain. That's what the green forktrucks are up to. Rather unscientifically they just drag the chain onto the quayside and wait for something nice to happen to it. The photo really captures the atmosphere of Lerwick as most of us who have been there remember it. Beyond the light sof the ship you can see Bressay - apparently being rained upon. Still on the quay the buoyancy from the Maclure Field, captured by Paul earlier, and in the foreground twenty sections of riser with buoyancy attached. |
