Occasionally Mike Prendergast visits Singapore from
Australia, and while there takes a tour round the
harbour and takes photos of the ships at anchor, and
sends us copies of the results. The star of this
visit, in my opinion, is the Southern Ocean,
photographed against a backdrop of an impending
tropical storm. The Southern Ocean is a brand new
IMR ship, formerly the Bourbon Oceanteam 104, and
still owned by Bourbon. It is on hire to TSmarine,
which is part of Fugro and operates in Australia.

I have started a community page,
I have no idea how this will go but it seems that by
enrolling people with common interests can email
each other - without the public exposure of Facebook.
