Bergen Offshore
Logistics may or may not now exist (2009). In 2006
Bergen Offshore Logistics a subsidiary of Sical Pty,
itself an Indian company, purchased the VS 470 MkII Siem
Mollie. The ship went to work in the North Sea
as the Sical Torino. In 2009 it was purchased by Farstad
Shipping Pte Singapore. The content of this page is
therefore limited to "Disposals".
Sical themselves apparently
managed a number of ships working in the Indian
oilfields including the Samudra Suraksha, the diving
ship which collided with a platform resulting in a
serious fire with considerable loss of life. Subsequent
to this their contract was cancelled and as a result
they seem to have gone out of business.
A quick skim through the
interweb in 2014 indicated that there was no change to
the Bergen Offshore Logistics situation, particularly
since this site came up second in Google.
