World Wide Supply
is a new company formed apparently by a group of
Norwegian financiers however, we note that the
Remoy family are involved both financially and
in the management of the company. The Remoys
have been in the business probably ever since
the oil industry arrived in the North Sea and
are well known for their ability to develop
fleets piecemeal and then sell them en bloc. It
was they who initiated the Havila fleet and of
course they are present in a major way as REM
Offshore.
At the time of writing the first two of these
ships are to be available for hire in Europe and
the next four already have contracts out in
Brazil.
At the 2014
review it is probable that all six of the ships
ordered are in service although the company do
not seem to have developed an internet presence.
