VOLSTAD SHIPPING

Like many Norwegian companies Volstad has its roots in the fishing industry. In its current form, as an operator of support vessels it was initiated in 2003, but they still have one trawler.

The three platform ships are managed by Gulf Norway, and so appear on that page as well as this one.

Volstad has two websites, one of which is called Volstad Maritime and the other Volstad Shipping. It appears that one site features the ships which are owned but managed by others and the other features those bareboated to others. Maybe this is not right, but they are combined on this page anyway, and the seismic ships included in line with the expansion of the site.

The platform ships don't seem to be managed by Gulf any more.
