Femco Management operates offshore vessels on the East coast of Russia and provides services particularly to offshore Sakhalin and to projects offshore Vietnam. The company is a development of the Far Eastern Marine Exploration Company which was established in 1976.

Although the ships detailed here are not all owned directly by Femco most do not appear elsewhere on the site. Some of them are from the well known Beaudrill fleet, as are some of the drilling units around Sakhalin. It appears in 2011 that our site is more up to date than Femco's, but of course this information cannot be guaranteed.

At the 2013 update it can be seen that the company have bought one or two nearly new far east constructed ships and a couple of old European anchor-handlers, and have got rid of the old Neftegaz craft.

Since the 2013 review there have been no changes to the fleet, apparently. However the company have four anchor-handlers on order. At present all four vessels are under construction, and all are scheduled for delivery in 2015.

At the time of the 2015 review the information about Femco seems to have more or less disappeared, to the point that I wonder where I got the information about the ships, however some of them at least appear to be still operating under the Femco banner, so maybe they all are. The four ships on order seem to have been reduced to three and one has been launched and is probably still outfitting in Norway.  They are all icebreakers of about 14000 kW power and 185 t bollard pull.
